Is ndis.page an official NDIS website?
No. ndis.page is an independent resource and web studio. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) or the Australian Government. The official NDIS website is ndis.gov.au, and the NDIA can be reached on 1800 800 110.
Is the information here advice?
No — it’s general information to help you understand the NDIS. It is not legal, financial, clinical or NDIS-planning advice, and it can’t determine your eligibility or build your plan. For decisions about your situation, contact the NDIA or a qualified professional.
Can you help me with my NDIS plan, eligibility or a complaint?
We can explain the concepts, but we can’t assess eligibility, manage plans, or handle complaints — those are matters for the NDIA (1800 800 110) and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (1800 035 544). A support coordinator, plan manager or disability advocate can give you personal help.
What does the “web development, forms and processing” part do?
For NDIS providers, we build accessible websites, create online forms (referral, intake, consent, service agreements, feedback, incidents), and handle the processing behind them — secure submission, confirmations, and routing to the right team. See Web & forms.
What do you mean by “accessible”?
We build to WCAG 2.1 AA: full keyboard operation, screen-reader support, sufficient colour contrast, resizable text, respect for reduced-motion settings, and plain language. Our own accessibility statement sets out exactly what we do and how to report a barrier.
How do you handle sensitive information in forms?
Carefully. We design forms to collect only what’s needed, capture consent up front, transmit securely over HTTPS, and avoid insecure public storage — with the Australian Privacy Principles in mind. Providers remain responsible for their own privacy obligations, and we work alongside their processes.
Who are your services for?
NDIS providers and disability-sector organisations of any size — sole traders to larger services — who want a website and forms that are genuinely accessible and easy to run. If you’re a participant or family, the free guides are for you.
Do you charge for the information guides?
No. The guides under Learn the NDIS are free to read. Web development, form creation and processing are paid services for providers, scoped and quoted per project.
How current is the NDIS information?
We review the guides periodically (currently 12 June 2026) and deliberately focus on stable concepts rather than fast-changing figures. The NDIS reforms regularly, so for anything current or decision-specific, always check ndis.gov.au.
How do I get in touch?
Use the enquiry form — for provider builds, accessibility questions, corrections to a guide, or to report a barrier on this site. For urgent NDIS help, call the NDIA on 1800 800 110; in an emergency call 000.
